CAM FFA Heads to NWMSU

CAM FFA Heads to NWMSU

On October 7th, 21 members of the CAM FFA left early, headed to the NWMSU Career Development Events contest in Maryville. Livestock, Dairy, and Horse contests were a few of the many contests the students participated in. The CAM 1 Livestock team placed 4th out of 56 teams. Individually, Paige Jensen was 2nd overall, Brant Will following close behind in 8th place, and Lukas James placed 31st out of 175 participants. The Dairy team was composed of many first-time judges for the event. The team placed 10th out of 26 teams with Jenna Grubbs winning 20th out of 121 contestants, individually. CAM also had four new people judging horses this year. There were 34 total teams that competed against our CAM Horse Judging team, placed 23rd with Sydney Becker placing 39th individually, out of 101 people. Many of our students are new to these contests and this contest was a great opportunity to try new things and see new places!
